Hotel Lille Europe, Lille Picture: The air con. The windows do open but you hear the noise of the traffic depending which side your room is on. The breakfast was ok, of the continental variety - no scrambled eggs but they do have slices of ham. When we arrived it was degrees and by opening windows and drawing curtains we got the temperature down a bit, but in a modern hotel like this the lack of aircon was surprising. On the downside, the ibis Styles hotel does not have air-conditioning , so it is not advisable during the hot summer months, and the rooms are much smaller than the regular ibis hotel.
